In the the race for the grand prize of $25,000.00 in the TurboTax Rap contest on YouTube contestants are offering thousands to non-profits in the hopes of persuading voters to select their entry. Hosted by Vanilla Ice and offering one of the biggest Internet contest awards to date is driving thousands of web surfers to vote.
While the quality of video and rapping runs the gamut, thousands of Youtubers and web goers are not letting that stop them from voting. Everyday that voting goes on hundreds of contestants are busy getting the word out to anyone they know about the contest. Some contestants have promised to donate a percentage of their winning, if they win, to their favorite organization. The latest organization to that may benefit is St, Jude's Children's Reasearch Hospital.
St. Jude is an innovative pediatric,treatment and research facility. Breakthrough accomplishments at St. Jude's has updated thinking on how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. The latest entry or(http://www.youtube.com/contest/TheTaxRap?goto=218) has said "If I win, 25% of the winning will be donated to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital."
